Syngear® SH®-1000 series gear oils are formulated with synthetic base stocks and fortified with select additive systems to enhance their exceptional performance. The synthetic base fluid used has outstanding oxidation and thermal stability, naturally high viscosity index and excellent low temperature pumpability and fluidity. The unique additive system used provides increased oxidation stability, extreme-pressure properties, and maximum protection against wear, rust, corrosion and foaming.

In today’s world of efficiency improvements, there has been much emphasis placed on reducing energy requirements for equipment used in plant operations. Summit Syngear® synthetic gear lubricants have proven to reduce friction, thereby reducing the input power to operate the equipment or increasing the available power output. The reduction of fluid friction results in lower lubricant operating temperatures, prolonging the life of both the lubricant and the equipment. The additive system used in this product not only reduces frictional drag, but also protects gears against failures associated with heavy loading and meets the requirements of AGMA 250.04 and API GL-4 Gear Service Category.

RECOMMENDED USES

Syngear® SH® 1000 series gear lubricants are recommended for use in all types of enclosed gearing as well as plain and rolling element bearings. These lubricants are ideal for heavily loaded low speed gears and bearings where boundary or elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) conditions exist, such as in mine hoist gear reducers. They are particularly recommended for gearboxes which operate under excessively high temperatures where good quality conventional oils rapidly oxidize. Summit Syngear® Heavy Duty series gear lubricants may also be used in certain open gear applications, but it is recommended that Summit lubrication engineers be consulted to select the most effective method of application.

Syngear® SH® 1000 gear lubricants are compatible with most seal materials, paints and plastics, including nitrile Buna N, neoprene, Viton®, teflon, polyethylene, polyurethane ether, fluorocarbon, polyacrylate, polysulfide, ethylene acrylic, epoxy, plastisol, PVC, acrylic paint and lacquer.

Summit HySyn FR Series

HySyn FR Series fluids are based on high quality synthetic, organic, esters and carefully selected additives achieve excellent hydraulic fluid performance. They provide a lubrication level equal to premium anti-wear hydraulic oils with viscosity grades of 46 and 68. HySyn FR fluids are fire resistant with self-extinguishing properties. They are factory mutual certified, non-irritating, biodegradable, non toxic to aquatic life and contain no hazardous ingredients. HySyn FR Series fluids are not water soluble and can be removed from collector systems by standard skimming techniques. These are zinc-free ashless lubricants.

RECOMMENDED USES

Hysyn FR Series Products are recommended for use in fire hazardous and environmentally sensitive hydraulic applications.

Summit HyPar Series

Summit HyPar zinc-free ashless hydraulic oil is a synthetic blend formulated to meet the requirements of all types of hydraulic systems. HyPar is rust and oxidation inhibited to protect against rust, wear and the formation of sludge. It is compatible with seal materials normally used in hydraulic systems. HyPar 32, 46 & 68 do not produce an iridescent appearance (sheen) on the surface of the water when tested in accordance with the U.S. Coast Guard Static Sheen Test.

RECOMMENDED USES

Summit HyPar hydraulic oil is a synthetic blend formulated to meet the requirements of all types of hydraulic systems. It contains additives necessary to meet requirements for Denison HF-O, Vickers industrial and mobile applications and Cincinnati Milacron P-68, P-69 and P-70 specifications.

EnviroTech All-Trac

EnviroTech® All-Trac is a zinc-free ashless environmentally responsible universal lubricant for farm equipment, off-highway machinery, and industrial tractors. This multifunctional biobased fluid is designed for equipment requiring one lubricant for the transmission, final drive, wet brakes and hydraulic systems. It meets or exceeds the performance requirements of all major brands of farm tractors and other farm equipment that utilize a common fluid reservoir. EnviroTech® All-Trac is formulated with special friction modifiers to ensure proper operation of wet brakes and transmission clutch packs. The vegetable based formulation provides superior oxidation resistance, excellent wear protection, protects against rust and corrosion, and has exceptional anti-foam characteristics. EnviroTech® All-Trac meets or exceeds the requirements for ATD Allison C-4, Caterpillar TO-2.

RECOMMENDED USES

Classified as ultimately biodegradable (Pw1) and non-toxic, EnviroTech® All-Trac is ideal for equipment operating in environmentally sensitive areas. EnviroTech EAL H Series hydraulic oils are zinc-free ashless premium environmentally responsible hydraulic fluids designed to provide exceptional performance in hydraulic and circulation systems. These vegetable based formulations have been engineered to meet or exceed the performance requirements of most hydraulic pump and system manufacturers, while satisfying the rigorous criteria for biodegradability and toxicity. They offer the anti-wear and film strength characteristics necessary for hydraulic systems operating under high load and high pressure. EnviroTec® hydraulic oils are inhibited for excellent protection against rust and corrosion.

EnviroTech® EAL H Series complies with the “biodegradable”, “minimally-toxic” and “not bioaccumulative” standards as defined in Appendix A of the 2013 Vessel General Permit issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Prior to transitioning equipment on board vessels to EnviroTech® EAL Series, the ship owner/operator should verify with the equipment manufacturer that the sealing system is compatible for use with an EAL.

Summit HyPar FG Series are zinc-free ashless hydraulic oils formulated specially for hydraulic systems operating in the food service, beverage, and packaging industries. HyPar FG Series lubricants are NSF H1Registered. In addition, these hydraulic oils are Kosher approved and Halal certified. HyPar FG Series lubricants are fortified with oxidation inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, as well as anti-wear additives to enhance the superior qualities offered by the Food Grade base stock.
