SumTech® SG Series lubricating synthetic greases are heavy-duty multipurpose lubricating greases with development emphasis on long-term and lifetime lubrication of rolling element bearings under moderate to high load. The special lithium complex soap thickener and synthetic hydrocarbon base oil are proven components for high temperature operation. Special anti-oxidant blended additives provide oxidation stability at both low and high temperatures. Synergistic corrosion inhibitors offer protection for both ferrous and yellow metals which are commonly used in today’s rolling element bearings.

SumTech® SG Series synthetic greases are built for long-term and lifetime lubrication of rolling bearings in a service temperature range between -30ºC(-20ºF) to 150ºC(302ºF).

SumTech PFPE-420

SumTech® PFPE-420 is a perfluorinated polyether (PFPE) based lubricating grease created for use in severe operating conditions caused by high temperature or aggressive chemical environments. This long-life lubricant has excellent rust inhibiting, corrosion protection and solvent washout resistant properties. It is totally inert and can be used in the presence of liquid or gaseous oxygen. SumTech® PFPE-420 meets USDA 1998 (H1) guidelines (lubricants with incidental food contact).

RECOMMENDED USES

SumTech® PFPE-420 is ideal for use in bearings, conveyors and pumps subject to aggressive chemicals or heat. It recommended for drying ovens, shrink wrap tunnels, oven chains and other high temperature applications found in food manufacturing. SumTech® PFPE-420 is compatible with all types of polymers, plastomers and elastomers.

SumTech AQ-320

SumTech® AQ-320 is a Barium complex ISO 320 lubricating grease for use in wet environments. The special Barium complex thickener is resistant to steam and mild alkaline and acidic solutions preventing SumTech® AQ-320 from becoming washed out of the lubricating area. The nature of the special thickener system gives SumTech® AQ-320 a very tacky nature which is similar to the specific gravity of water, providing an unprecedented level of protection against water washout and corrosion. Premium anti-oxidants provide excellent thermal stability and a blend of corrosion inhibitors extend the excellent anti-corrosion nature inherent of the thickener.

RECOMMENDED USES

SumTech® AQ-320 is the grease of choice for marine, pulp and paper, and steel mill industries where exposure to water and aggressive media cannot be avoided. SumTech® AQ-320 is also suitable for use in sealing water valves, labyrinth seals, and rotary steam unions.

SumTech EMB-160

SumTech® EMB-160 is semi-synthetic ISO 150 polyurea grease specifically designed for use in rolling element anti-friction bearings operating under extreme temperatures. The organic polyurea thickener system contains no metal ions which act as catalysts for oxidation. SumTech® EMB-160 was designed with special anti-oxidants and corrosion inhibitors to ensure long life of rolling bearings operating under severe temperature and high humidity.

RECOMMENDED USES

The extended service temperature range of -22ºF to 320ºF and high speed factor of 500,000 nDm makes SumTec®h EMB-160 the ideal lubricating grease for electric motor bearings designed to be lubricated for life.

SumTech® FGCS Series

SumTech® FGCS Series is a 100% synthetic calcium sulfonate thickened lubricating grease created specifically for the food and beverage industries. Its special additive system provides superior water spray off and water wash off properties.

It offers excellent anti-wear properties, extreme pressure properties, oxidation resistance, and protection from rust and corrosion. The synthetic base stock gives SumTech® FGCS Series exceptional low temperature properties and thermal stability over a wide temperature range.

SumTech® FGCS greases are NSF H1 Registered and meet USDA 1998 (H1) guidelines for lubricants with incidental food contact. FGCS greases are ideal for the lubrication of cookers and other equipment used in meat/poultry processing, fruit/vegetable processing, and bakeries where higher operating temperatures are a concern.
